Architectural Design For Ewell

While it is the smallest Borough in Surrey, Epsom and Ewell is also the most densely populated with the built up areas concentrated in Ewell to the north. 

Located in the College Road Conservation Area on the boundary between Epsom and Ewell, the main office of Alex Coleman Associates is ideally located to provide a broad range of architectural services within the borough. Over more than ten years we have built up an excellent knowledge of local development policy and effective working relationships with staff in the Planning and Building Control departments at Epsom and Ewell Borough Council.  We are able to attend pre-application advice meetings with or on behalf of our clients at the Town Hall in Epsom and being Partnered with Epsom and Ewell under the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) scheme means that a range of additional Building Control services are available to us and our clients.

Our portfolio of built and unbuilt projects in Ewell is extensive and diverse and reflects the many different styles of houses in the main areas of Ewell Village, West Ewell, East Ewell and Stoneleigh.  We have recently secured planning permission for house extensions in Church Street in Ewell Village Conservation Area and Chelwood Road.  We have completed house extensions in Higher Green, Lansdowne Road, Crosslands Road and Queensmead Avenue.  We have also secured planning permission for further, as yet unbuilt schemes in Willow Way, Oakdale Road, Purberry Grove, Denham Road, The Green, Bradford Drive, Chessington Road, The Headway, Ewell Park Way, Seaforth Gardens, The Drive and Fairfax Avenue, to list but a few.  We have also worked with small local businesses including the Ewell Bakery in Ewell Village for whom we secured planning permission for a Change of Use in early 2013.  In January 2016 plans were approved for the conversion of Bank House in the High Street into residential flats, work being due to commence on site in the spring.
